I was searching on ebay the other day for inuyasha dvds (never found the ones i was looking for ) but then i saw a whole list of inuyasha dvds- The last dvd, episdoes 151-162-Ended
actually theres going to be 167 episodes, the two part episode showed on Monday i guess. It was announced in San diego at comicon, here is a link http://www.anime-ni.co.uk/index.php?subaction=showfull&id=109 0873951&archive=
did anyone else know about the series ending? (ooo..i wonder how it all turned out in the end!...*gets excited*) actually i'm a little sad..i was hoping it could go on and beat dragon ball Z!
( well..ok nm..nothing will ever beat that anime..) Message Edited by _Yuna_ on 09-08-2004 06:47 AM

Even though the Inuyasha anime is now over, there is still a fourth movie scheduled for release this December in Japanese theaters. I'm not sure if it's going to be a real closure to the series, or just a final farewell, but oh well.
I'm glad it didn't get further in episode count than it did. There was already too much filler as is. I would've justified a longer series if it worked in large story arcs, but it only did that once.

Someone posted an article on it several months ago. http://furinkan.com/iycompanion/anime/ for complete ending. The guide there shows that the show doesn't technically end until next week. So keep a look out when it actually DOES end. Message Edited by Sailor Star* on 09-08-2004 12:29 PM

Oh, I know. Regardless, there's a difference in reading a Rumiko Takahashi manga, and watching an anime series based on a Rumiko Takahashi manga. My response was entirely related to the Inuyasha anime series, and in no way involves the Inuyasha manga.

i heard the news a while ago, it really dissapointed me, but considering that i am on episode 40 or something, i really doubt i have anything to worry about for a while. it is still sad that they are ending it..REALLY sad!! i love this anime! i wonder why, its not like nobody watches it! y!
