From IGN: "Revealed during Ubisoft's Q2 investor call this morning, CEO Yves Guillemot said pre-order sales for Assassin's Creed II are 80 percent higher than the original title.
"We are waiting to see how this translates to an increase in sales," he said. "It's an interesting number, but it doesn't give you all the information." Hell yeah guys. I know that as far as the media is concerned that Creed II won't be nearly as doted over as Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2, but the game will still be HUGE. I'm a big Assassin's Creed fan, I've played through the original game three times this year just in anticipation for the new game. I've had this game payed for since last July. We're only two weeks away from playing it.... Can't wait.

80% more nice considering how many people bought first AC that's got be alot of pre-orders. No matter how much people bagged AC1 guess they just cant resist AC2

I was holding off preordering it until I knew I could afford it but I guess I'm SOL now. Anyone know if there's confirmation that they're sold out everywhere of the CE?
