where it was hinted that Assassin's Creed will be a trilogy? And also, will it be the same Altair what we played with in AC that we'll be controlling in AC II? Someone told me that but I'm not sure. And it will still be Desmond in the "real world" right..

I believe Jade Raymond mentioned Assassin's Creed was a trilogy when they first did an interview with her. And no you don't play as Altair in this one, you play as Ezio another ancestor of Desmond in the renaissance era.
