SECTION II: 

DOG TAGS:  The dog tag collection system is a great way to prove your meleeing skills! You will notice that you get different colored dogtags along with a number on the dogtag with each knife kill. Ok, the Bronze dogtags indicate that the person you just knived is rank level 1-10. (You will also see a [+1-10] on your dogtag. A silver dogtag indicates that the person you just knived is a rank 11-19. (You will also see a [+11-18] on your dogtag. A gold dogtag indicates the person you just knived is a rank level 19-25. (You will also see a [+19-25] on your dogtag] So basicly the level rank of the person you just knived is the number you see on the dogtag and thats the amount of bouns points you have recived. Plus 3 points for getting the knive kill in the first place. Hint: Try to knive them in the neck/top of head because you get another bonus of 3 points for a headshot. 

SECTION III:

Skill Level: The following explination is for users who are rank lvl 25 ONLY! You will notice that when you reach rank lvl 25 you will recive a new feature called 'Skill Level'. 1-50 are the skill lvls...1 being the most skilled and 50 being the lowest skilled. Only 1 person in the world can have skill lvl 1 and 50 while multipule people can have 2-49. There are 4 colors that the numbers are. (Green,Yellow,Orange, and Red) Green meaning that you are very close to moving up in skill and red meaning you are very close to going down in skill. Skill level rank is based off of your SPM (Score Per Minute) and your k/d ratio and how it changes. Keep in mind that even if you dont play for a couple of days and your skill level has gone down, its not you...its just that SPM is recorded even when you are not playing. It drops about 15 SPM per week. (about 2.5 SPM per day)

SECTION V:

Vetran Status: Ok, so when you are playing BF:BC, you may notice that some players have a grayish box with a number in it to the left of their PSN on he scoreboard. This means that they are a 'Vetran'. The numbers can go from 1-5. 1 being the least exzperienced vetran and 5 being the insane vetran. The more BF series games you register, the higher your vetran status. Now, to do so, first you must Create an EA account [Make sure the e-mail address you use is the same as your PSN email], after that, or if you already have an EA account then go here. After linking your accounts go the to http://www.vetran.battlefield.com and login using your EA account. From there enter at least 2 game accounts to gain vetran status and unlock the F2000 assault riffle. Hope this helps!

The number on the dog tags is the numerical value of the rank of the person you killed.

Btw, no enlisted personell have ranks that resembles a General's.  If you are made a First Sgt. you get a diamond in the middle of six stripes.  Command sergeant majors have olive branches, with a small star in the middle with stripes on top and bottom, the Sgt. of the Army gets an eagle with a star and has stripes on the top and bottom.  I wish DICE would have used the actual ranks for First Sgt ->WO.
