In past socoms i used to get a lot of friendly kill becuase theur names popped up to late or not at all in my scope, sometimes i couldnt tell the difference in the uniforms either.

Now with the viewing distance increased further(wich im really happy about) im hoping they can make friendly names appear from a long way if you are near the person and scoped in.

Or i hope that now with HD we can see the distinction between the two teams better.

From what you have seen do you think its going to be a problem?

Also do you think the ghillie suit should reapear?

i personnaly would want it back but implimented better more like cod4. i know i will get hammered for even mentioning cod4 but it has a really good suit that actualy makes you blend in quit nice tho its not a really good sniper game lol since everyone is just rampaging around.

im one of those few people that liked foxhunt because it was a sniper friendly stage with a defective ghillie suit

Well they added them dorky diamonds to stop that...but I think that was silly, and far away names get in the way a lot. I think it should be even harder to tell people apart now because of clan systems, pretty much everyone is going to look different out there especially in free rooms lol.....so Keep the names where you can see them while scoped but if you're not they have to be close....I am pretty sure they did this in previous socoms anyways, just no diamonds.

Well we aren't positive that that was what the diamonds were, but if they are I'm not a fan either.  Talk about getting in the way, that would be just as distracting (if I can even pretend that those distract me) as having the names.  I'm impartial to this problem becuase I figure after 100 hours of play you're going to be able to determine friendly from foe.  I would prefer nothing on the screen (true test of skill) but like I said IMO it doesn't matter becuase we will all get used to the new way anyway and accidental TK's will go down after a while if there is a problem at the start.

Or if you were in actual combat right, I think people are concerned that you wouldn't even know what your buddy looks like before you go to combat with him for the game.  Shooting people on your team just because you don't know what your team looks like.  In combat, and in paintball, you should have somewhat of an idea of what your team looks like.

The diamonds where good, it cut nack on friendlt fire cause even though you can't see theri names from a distance, you could still see the diamond.  Plus if a team mate went down ,you could see whre he went down by the diamond slowly disapearing.

I felt as though the diamonds fixed a problem without hurting anything.
