FFVIII-2 Confirmed!?!?

Someone at the kingdomhearts2.net forums found this picture. They posted it in the KH2 section, thinking it was Rinoa and in KH2. The graphic style is definalty not that of KH. If this is a real image, which it looks like, it would have to be from FFVIII-2, which has not been confirmed. The style seems a lot like that of FFXII, which is the most recent FF game, so it makes perfect sense. If there is FFVIII-2, let's hope that they don't ruin it like they did to FFX with X-2.
That is definatly Rinoa. She even has the wings still. But of course they have to make it extremely skimpy...

Second, the PS.com site does not use the /img tag for images on the forums. To insert a pic on these forums, simply click on the "Insert an Image" button  and insert the URL of the pic you would like to put in your message.
Finally, I dont recall there being ANY chance of Square making a sequel to Final Fantasy VIII, even though it was my favorite game in the series, sorry.

Just because Square has never commented on a sequal to FFVIII before does not mean that they won't ever do it. I HIGHLY doubt that this pic is a fake. I think it is a REAL leak (wow, now that's a first!). The style just seems so mush like Square. Even the skimpyness seems like the way they have been doing the outfits, similar to FFX-2. I doubt anyone is skilled enough in Maya to make this and make it seem so much like how it would look if it was true. And I highly doubt that there is any human being alive who can do that in Photoshop.

That can't be a FFVIII sequal. I mean many people did not like the way FFX-2 turned out so I doubt they would make a FFVIII sequal similar and that IMO doesn't look like Rinoa, unless that's her in KH2 but then again here clothing isn't appropriate for that game. Either this is some art made by a fan or it's a character from FFXII but that's an interesting find.

It IS Rinoa. With shorter hair, that is. Just look at the sides of her cloak. It has her wings on it. I as well hated FFX-2. But what about FFVIIAC? They're goin' ahead with that aren't they? Yes, they are. So, why not FFVIII-2? But hopefully they will HEAVILY learn from thier mistakes.

Looks very photoshoped. Look around her, do you see how blury it is?
And even if there were a sequel in the works, there would be no chance of such a pic being released without official confirmation.

The blurriness wouldn't be there if it was made in PS. That is only because of the quality. If someone was trying to trick everyone with that s/he would make it as clear and perfect as s/he could.
