Now you don't HAVE to cut off your internet to get the game loaded. All you have to do is make sure you are not signed on. Thats it. Then when the game loads you just goto Multiplayer and sign on. Did it a few times and worked. I have the second version 60 GB PS3. So tell me if you have had this problem and if this works for you.

Someone else said this as well but how can you not log on? Everytime I start the console it logg me on and I dont even see a way to logg out just to disable the internet.
I have no clue what Im doing but I am faking it well

U can logout, press triangle on your user on the PS3 menu (XMB) and select sign out, then start the game and select multiplayer from your phone and log in

Its there - im not at home so i dont know exactly where it is but i DO beleive that if you scroll over to the right to your name (PSN ID) and hit triangle it will give you the option to log out. or it may be the name all the way to the left
