The game isn't even out yet, so there's no way to know how good the people that are recruiting and the recruits are. IMO the point to have a winning clan, is to have the best of the best. How can you know, if you never played with these people? Also, if you never played with these people, you don't know if there going to be a moocher, noob, leader,an intellectual asset, etc... when on the battlefield. My point is, don't jump in on the bandwagon just yet, wait after the game comes out. That way everyone here will have experience with MAG.

For the last time everybody... To get a head start
*markjayw, he may be an ass to people sometimes, but he knows what to do. maybe you dont want to listen to him or what anyone else has to say, but you can do something, 2vs10, in an official server isnt too good of a chance, and you ppl come here to cry over get BR'd and wanting to quit, listen to the Generals and in the end you all win, you dont and you cry, so make that 2v10 that him and 1 listenener he may actually have turn it around and have all 16 puting the enemys in hell*(DO IT OR I'LL EAT YOU!)

Why create threads repeating topics that have been locked due to them being someones personal opinion on something that has nothing to do with their own gaming experience, but in fact has to do with the communities gaming experience. What does it matter?

X-Frame wrote: Clans are not all about winning. You can grasp a lot about a person who posts here without playing them to know they could be a good addition to your clan by their personality, past game history, etc.
Also, it's a head start. You wait until the game's release to start recruiting while people now are going to have months of a headstart so they could have dozens and dozens of members even before the game's release. Sure not all of them will be amazing players, but MAG isn't as much about being a lone wolf beast but about communication and listening to each other -- all qualities that you can get from someone just by interacting with them on the forums.
As long as players are active here on the forums, have Mics, and don't see like immature brats -- they will be a good addition to most clans looking to do well and have fun.
Kudos to that sir.

To get a head start and to meet the people you'll be playing with. /2A for example, we're not all about battling and winning games. We just want to get together with our friends and have fun playing MAG. Starting now helps us get a kickstart on have members, and it helps us meet each other before we go out on the battlefield. There is NOTHING wrong with starting early, you can't go wrong.
