Hey guys,

       I downloaded the MGO beta and finished the 1.01 update (700 MB) and on my TV is states that MGO is running at 1920x1080p. I can tell it's not native though but rather stretched horizontally (like GT5P) so it is really 960 x 1080p which is still amazing!!!

WOW that what I was hoping for lol

now that I've seen MGO beta being shown in 1080p I guess perhaps MGS 4 running in 1080p wouldn't be FAR off now come the june 12 release

oh & if MGS 4/MGO was to REALLY run a FULL (native)1920x1080p with either 30 or 60fps in the final release, then this game will DEFINITELY hit platinum along with the GOTY honors

Anyway 960x1080 doesn't look all that bad at all as far as 1080p goes so I'm pretty sure that this game will sell regardless & may still grab GOTY honors perhaps but.......

Knowing Hideo Kojima & his KP people, since they did mentioned back in a recent ign.com q&a article that MGS 4 running in 1080p is still a closely guarded secret,

theres a 50-50 to a slightly  good if not greater chance MGS 4 may run at native 1920x1080p but again 960x1080p still looks great so who knows come June 12
