If you bean or walk a guy but don't allow any hits, is it a no-hitter or a shut-out?

its still a no hitter if you walk someone, it just isn a perfect game (no hits, walks, or errors)

Yea, I had a perfect game going with 15 K's until the second batter in the 9th.  I walked him...then doubled him up with a sinker.  So a no-no, but not a perfect game.  Happy, yet so sad.:smileysad:

I still can't get past the third inning without giving a hit.

 

Even with Cy Young vs Royals at Dodgers Stadium.

 

Guess my H/9 is 3.

my closest is 7 and 2/3 to a perf game. Stamina drain late game makes it a little difficult for me to hit the corners.

My RTTS pitcher had a perfecto in his rookie year (then lost one the next year in the 9th inning, two out, 0-2 count:smileymad:smileyhappy:

 

btw, to the OP- as far as a shutout goes, you can give up any number of hits and walks, as long as you don't give up any runs it's still a shutout
