So I went to Best Buy today to pick up a new 120gb slim PS3. Got in there and grabbed the last one, and while I was looking for games a little boy and his Dad were looking for a PS3, but apparantley I had the last one, and all the other stores they checked were sold out. The boy looked really bummed out, so I went over to them and told them they can have my slim. The look on both of their faces was well worth it, just so happy and shocked. Really was an amazing feeling. And it gets better, the manager gave me a $50 gift card as a thank you. Score!

Nice move, there's a free game for you!

By the way, find a Meijer, sign up for their credit card, and buy the PS3 the same day. You'll get 25% off, I just did. Bought PS3 Slim, Madden 10, and GT5:smileytongue:rologue all for less than buying the System by itself anywhere else.

Do you ever consider how signing up for credit cards just to get discounts will effect your credit?

But when credit bureaus look at your credit history they see all these one time credit card uses and it looks bad.

thats awsome. being a dad. it sucks when you cant get your kid what they want. that was a really cool thing to do . kudos.
