Can't we all do something about how these companies keep putting out broken games, only working after they (the companies) wait to see what people are complaining about, and put out a patch? I play alot of games. I have a 360 and a PS3. Games for both systems do this, but PS3 seems to be worse. I know it is harder to develop for (PS3), but come on. And the systems also. My perfectly healthy, and well taken care of PS3 died a couple of weeks ago. I just got a slim. Now this is the 3rd PS3 that I have owned in less than 1 year. I still have the 3rd PS2 I ever bought throughout it's entire lifetime, isn't that like 10 years or more? Not only that, but I had just bought LBP and a crapload of DLC for it, plus all the DLC for Fallout 3, except for Operation: Anchorage. I updated to 3.01, played a little Fists Of Plastic, shut the PS3 down, then turned it on. It came on. I set the controller down to open something for my son, and the PS3 shut down on its own to never return to life again. I had no warranty, and I had no intention of letting Sony send me (another) a refurb for $150, so now I have a PS3 with one of my DLC slots used up and no way to remove any of it. Sony says they will clear slots of systems they service, but if you do not want their crappy service, you are F***ed!!! I love you Sony, but am fed up with your broken shizzle. And I still have my first 360. Pretty funny seeing how I hate Microsoft, and have been so loyal to Sony for years. I never even bought the first Xbox, and only bought a 360 for Halo Wars. Just letting you know I am no fanboy of either system. Wow - everything looks so good - wish I could play the sh*t. Quality is gone, and we all need to do something about it.

First of sucks that you've gotten bad luck with your ps3s. But I am very curious as to how you got your updates to your ps3? Did you download via the ps3 or did you download from your computer put it on a usb?

Where ever you have your PS3, I think you need to move it. I've had a lauch 60GB sitting vertically on top of the sub-wolfer from my surround sound. It's at least 4 inches away from the TV stand, and is no where near any other hot electronics. I have never had an over-heat, or any kind of other problem. Three different PS3's in a year seems like way more than bad manufacturing.
Launch 60 GB PS3 w/ Emotion Engine - 320GB 7200 RPM HDD - YDL 6.1 - 60GB Ext. HDD made from original PS3 HDD If you pirate games, and the rich bstards don't make any money, they'll stop making many of the future games. Unfortunately, the players lose in the end...

Buddy...are you RETARDED? You're PS3 is sitting on a freaking MAGNET! A speaker of ANY size is no place for a piece of electronics that contains a HARD DRIVE. If you don't move it, you're ASKING for trouble.
