That must mean you TV does not support 1080p.

Only some info - I sure don't know a thing about your TV.

1. The number don't show up on the LG website 

2. All the sets with LG in the model number are discontinued

3. ONLY 3 of several with LG in the model number claim 1080p - the others with LG in the serial number are not 1080p

My small Magnavox (Philips) is a newish model and only goes to 1080i. Most of the ones in it's size range (19") only do 720p.

I also read some seller talked something about able to input 1080p - it said NOTHING about the TV being 1080p and the wording was you can poke 1080p at the TV set if you want to.

Like I said - I don't know squat about YOUR TV. It seems to be handling "stuff" like my 1080i (which looks excellent anyway - I have no idea how it could look any better with a game like WipEout HD that uses 1080)
