Xenokai and KING_omletGRIM presents a thread for all the GDC PS3 talk. I will be fully updating this post as up to date PS3 news and features are announced. I will be posting links to live streams as they become available. All GDC Discussion's are welcome in this thread.
What's GDC? The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is the official trade event "by developers for developers" of computer, console, mobile, arcade, online games, and location based entertainment. The GDC attracts over 12,500 attendees and provides educational, networking, and business opportunities for game development professionals driving the $11 billion videogame industry. It is the main global forum where programmers, artists, producers, game designers, audio professionals and others involved in the development of interactive games gather to exchange ideas, network, and shape the future of the industry.
This market defining conference features over 300 lectures, panels, tutorials and round-table discussions on a comprehensive selection of game development topics taught by leading industry experts. In addition, the GDC expo showcases all of the game development tools, platforms and services. The conference also includes the ninth annual Independent Games Festival, where new, unpublished games compete for the attention of the publishing community. Who is Phil Harrison? Phil is a corporate executive and representative director of Sony Computer
Entertainment Inc, and Executive Vice President of Sony Computer

EDIT : Some new insight and teases to Phil Harrison's keynote.
Sony teases their GDC announcements.Does 'un-announced' services mean Playstation 'Home' ?You need to be F5'ing 1UP on Wednesday morning. We will be live blogging Sony's Game Developers Conference presentation, where it's been widely speculated the company will unveil their MySpace-like PlayStation Home service for PlayStation 3. In their official press release, they tease: "Phil Harrison's keynote presentation, "Game 3.0: Developing and Creating for the 3rd Age of Videogames," will kick off the conference on March 7th, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. PST. The speech will focus on the key components of Game 3.0 -- community, user-generated content, collaboration and commerce -- all highlighted through live demonstrations of previously un-announced services and games for PLAYSTATION 3 (PS3)." A major firmware update is scheduled for this month, coinciding with the impending European launch on March 23rd, and GDC should flesh out what's coming. Stay tuned.

Awesome, I defiently look forawrd to reading it. I have work that day so I'll defeitnly be online when you guys are updateing it.
Owner of a 8800GTX and a 160gig PS3. Yes, I'm a gamer.
Games I'm buying within the next year-
-PC- Gears of War, Crysis, Quake Wars, Bioshock, Half Life Orange Box, Team Fortress 2.
-PS3- Unreal Tournament 3, MGS4, Gran Turismo 5, Haze, Killzone 2, DiRT, and Army of Two.

Oh yeah , no problem. Xenokai and I still have A LOT more things to add and tweak to the thread. I know it'll be hectic come GDC day.
