NOTE!: This Driver can and will mess with, if you have one, your Zune. If you screw up the uninstall procedure, the problem will persist for a long time. It is VERY wise to create a System Restore Point before installing this driver. The problem it causes is Zune keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every 2 seconds, which is very anoying. Keep this in mind as it might mess something else up, but thats the only problem I've encountered.
Well now you can! It's as easy as pie....well...kind of...it took me a while before I fully got it working, but it wasn't much and now I'm going to give you the link I found and walk you through what to do! Sixaxis as a Game Controller (best for emulators and PC games that allow controller support)
Video Walkthrough Part 1 Part 2
^^Please rate and leave comments!^^
1. Go Here 2. Download the file driver 3. Unpack the whole file (preferably to your desktop) 4. Install the file driver (libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.10.1.exe). 5. Plug the SIXAXIS into your PC. 6. Run ps3sixaxis_en.exe once. 7. Push the PS button on the SIXAXIS once if it doesn't see it straight away.
Typically for most people, this will work. For me, it didn't and here is some helpful tips!
First, go into the control pannel, and open Game Controllers. Typically, the Sixaxis should be detected, but if you click on Properties, you might try moving the analog stick(s) around and the little + sign doesn't move. WTH?!
Well, here's a simple fix. 1. Place the "ps3sixaxis_en" file into the Windows/System32 folder 2. Go to start and then click Run 3. Type in CMD and a prompt should pop up 4. in the Prompt, type "ps3sixaxis_en" and hit enter 5. (keep the Game Controllers menu open under properties) and push the PS button ***Might want to shut ps3 off to prevent it from starting up*** 6. By now u should be able to see that you can move the + in any direction!
If this didnt help, try running steps 2-5 again.
*Note* I have to redo that everytime i restart my laptop, so if you restart and it doesnt work, just do those steps again. This works with most-all emulators and any other game you might have on your pc such as GTA.
-NO, I will NOT provide links or anything to emulators or roms so please don't ask.
Keep in mind the Sixaxis function (motion sensing) wont work, sorry.
Hope this helps and happy gaming!

Another cool program that has been posted here, allows sixaxis to act as a mouse. ControlMK Really quite simple to use and install. Problems? Here's a video walkthough complements of Ramjo-Frlim! Thanks man!

This is the worst written driver for this. It only works for about half the people.. It needs to be rewritten, and whats the point if its wired...
Ps3 2 years of bad press and STILL going strong. Bring it! Everyone says Ps3 has no games yet they want all of them on their console!?!
