Smoothing with work with a SDTV. Its minor but its still there. I wasnt entirely sure until I put .hack//GU vol 1 and 2 into my Ps2 and PS3 and then went to the same area and first person view. Switching between sources the PS3 image definately had smoother edges, but it wasnt OMG worthy. I confirmed it was the smoothing and not just the ps3 by turning smoothing off and trying it, and then again by switching the cords with each other. I would really love to see a comparison shot between the modes however. Im still HDTV hunting so I dont get to enjoy the upscaling goodness yet.

I just got done with God of War 2 on upscaled resolutions, I must say....I was expecting no difference, color me impressed. FF12 looks better to, maybe I'll try popping that one back in. PS3 New slogan: PS2, but better.

A few questions, I own a Samsung le23r71bx, native resolution of 1366x768- 1. So if i set it to 1080i, its really a 720p image but stretched? 2. For best upscaling results i should set it to 720p right, and what would be the best options to choose in the XMB, like 'full screen' or 'double scaling' etc.? 3. I heard people saying on these forums that they can change the resolution from 480p to 1080i/p IN GAME and also change the upscale method IN GAME, 'full scale' or 'double scaling' etc... HOW? I have tried the new features and i couldnt really see much of a difference, save the smoothing of jaggies. But everyone is saying how their PS2 catalogue looks incredible and i feel left out  so any help would be great 
 Im from England, you know, Fish and Chips, Cup o' Tea... Bad FOOD, WORSE WEATHER!
