WELL IT SEEMS THAT THIS ERROR CODE IS A POPULAR CODE 80010514. IN OTHER WORDS ITS THE CODE OF DEATH. SO IF YOU HAVE IT, ITS A GONER. MAKE THE CALL TO SONY AND WAIT 3-4 WEEKS. AS FOR ME IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN THERE WILL BE NO MORE SONY PS3 FOR ME. ANY WAY FOR THOSE OF YOU YOU HAVE OR WILL HAVE THIS PROBLEM GOOD LUCK, THERE ARE NO FIXES FOR THIS ONLY STRESS IN TRYING TO FIX IT. i AM JUST HOPING THAT IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN, BUT KNOWING THE WAY THINGS ARE BUILT NOW DAY I AM SURE THAT IT WILL. THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY AND RUSH AND BUILD AS YOU GO ALONG, SO SAD SONY SO SAD. AS FOR THOSE THAT WILL LOOK AT THIS AND BE A CRITIC JUST WAIT THE CHANCES OF THIS HAPPENING TO YOU ARE VERY HIGH, SO LOL

I would say welcome to the boards but with an attitude like that I think youd be better off just getting the suck box and joining there forums. Honestly its because of people like you that those of us have issues get called liars and trolls. I mean you come here like that and all you will get is people calling you names. Grow up already and realize that with anything electronic there can and probably will be defects. So if it breaks again Suck it up and get it fixed or just go buy the crapbox and leave us in peace. And just so you know my system did break after only two weeks. But I didnt come up here fussing about it. I called Sony and have a replacement system coming to me now.

See I am TRUE GAMER that plays and own all consoles... I am not a fanboy or pick one over the other... I play the games because that what a TRUE GAMER does.. You my friend are a fanboy... I do not jump ship just because I had a bad console.. I get a new until I get a working one...

Actually, with posts like this I usually just ignore them. Some people are never going to grow up and they're always going to have to think that what they prefer is better, and push it on other people. Others will simply enjoy the system they prefer and be content with that. I'm with the latter and I try not to encourage trolls. Let him get his "other system"

So what does that make those of us that cant afford or just plain choose not to own the other systems? some people just have their preference and even if I didnt have a preference for Sony over the others it doesnt make me any less of a gamer than you. I dont agree with his post nor do I really agree with yours either. Im definitely tired of the whole console wars and what not though. But honestly the other system doesnt really have any games that appeal that much to me. Not to mention I dont feel the need to pay to play games online. So thats why I prefer Sony over the other ones. So call me a fanboy if you want. But dont think Im any less of a gamer than you are.

I fail to see the point of your thread, if you wanted to get feedback from those few that have experienced the problem why not join a thread already in discussion or bump it up. You simply wanted to be heard I suppose but the proper way to do it is to contribute to an existing thread. I've never had the problem. I have a 60 gigs PS3 with no problems even after a two feet drop.
