I hoping someone could help me. It's frustrating not being able to play games. Let me start by telling you the system I have and tv. PS3 40G, played on a Samsung 65 DLP HD TV with option listed on the back 480/720/1080i (about 3 years old now). The tv has a beautiful picture with movies and games when I could play the games. Note: not having problems with movies, ok. I have put my setting at 1080i on the playstation setting and the right components. I have my connection using the blue, green, red and optical sound going into a HD Sony receiver. I have upgraded my playstation to the current software 2.10. When I put a rental game from blockbuster, It will revert into a blue screen. Note: you could hear the sounds though of the game, but no viewing picture. The games I tried today are Ratatoui and EA NBA 08. The disk is clean, checked. I then test it with a new game just purchased like, Soldier of Fortune and it plays just fine right after trying a game from blockbuster ps3 game. I do know that I can not play ps2 games or view regular movies on the 40g. ps3, but I should not have so many problems playing trying to play ps3 games. If anyone can help me solve this problem, please help. Thanks razlil
