After seeing this on eBay, this is definitely sad! Especially for everyone who wants to actually get one for themselves, not to resell. US $9,999.99? An extreme example! Though the Special Limited Edition Gun Metal Gray PS3 MGS4 bundle is popping up on online auction site eBay. The average starting price is over $900, which is more than Konami's $599.99 sticker tag for the pack. Not exactly sure how this works as the bundles haven't actually been shipped to customers or even eBay's policy on this (we imagine frowny faces). Always a shame to see profiteers move in like this! But we imagine this will persist as long as the machines are hard to get and folks are willing to part with their money. Gun Metal Gray? More like gun metal gray market. there is nothing wrong with selling this on eBay. someone bought it the legit way & is going to making a good profit on it. it's the same thing as when the PS3 was first released and was being auctioned at $1,000+ it's not illegal or whatever you want to call it, it's supply and demand.

This is why I really don't like Ebay. Anyway, I think Ebay may have limitations on it like they did for the launch. Only those with 98% or more can sell. Also, that person can get in trouble for false advertising. This is a 40gig, right? Do they have 4 USB ports? Do they have the card slots? Unless this one is different from the other 40gigs, this is false advertising and I do hope he/she get's caught. Also, the person puts the connections twice, to make it look like there's more than what there really is. Ugh!

Or some rich family? or a collecter. Either way this is a very sad day in PS3 history. Just like when the PS3 first came out. People were selling them on eBay because it was close to x-mas and there were sold out everywhere. Remember that?
