Here in the eastern timezone (GMT -5 in standard time) we have changed from daylight savings time (EDT) to standard time (EST) yet the PS3 still sets (via the Internet) the time to EDT instead of EST. Would be nice to get this resolved. Would be extremely nice to actually code and update the PS3 with a proper NTP client (that would also get the NTP server IP via DHCP) instead of the kludge that is currently used.

Under the daylight savings time setting choose no, or yes. which ever one you currently don't have selected.
 

20GB: 11/24/06-well, I fixed it for the 2nd time!, but it's in it's box. 120GB Slim: Aug 25, 2009 - better be after PS4 comes out.

Duh! Yes, thanks - missed it this time around. Still a proper NTP client shouldn't be all that difficult :smileyhappy:
