- Radio (or, even better, a jukebox!) for listening to personal music in personal spaces and clubs

I would love to see Morning/Midday/Evening/Night modes that automatically sync with your time zone (or have an international Home Time)... I would also like to see some new spaces. An penthouse overlooking the city would be great! Swimming pools or the ability to swim in the water off Red Bull Island would rock!

A vacation! (for a SMALL fee of course) you could choose from myriad locations that exist in the real world to go visit. (ex. Eiffel Tower, a mountain to hike, Statue of Liberty, Great Wall of China, the Moon, etc.) this would also include a space to stay while on your vacation.

I've said this before but I will repost it here hoping it gets seen.

Why not just allow everyone to customize the way that there own CENTRAL PLAZA looks in HOME to them.

I know you can do this SONY because there are elements inside the personal spaces that only the user can see who owns that space.(e.g. furniture, accessories) I think allowing people to change the overall look and feel of there CENTRAL PLAZA but still keeping the same structural layout would make people fall in love with home.

You can allow people the opportunity to go to other peoples CENTRAL PLAZA the same way people go to other users personal spaces now (by Invite).

The best way to accomplish all of this would be by using some client-side "skinning" of the CENTRAL PLAZA Space. The rest of the spaces in home including the spaces directly accessible through the central plaza would and should remain completely designed by the HOME dev team(e.g. Movie Theater, Bowling Alley, The Mall, Games Spaces..etc)

 By giving people the opportunity to change the content streaming on the video screens, the music playing at listen@home and overall look of the CENTRAL PLAZA I think that SONY would bring in increased revenue that at this point can only be a dreamt of. Quite frankly I'm sick of hearing about SONY's dreams and would like to start seeing some of the designs become reality.

 The mall could be filled with new items that could be purchased to decorate the CENTRAL PLAZA and also allow it to keep its overall theme. When a person logged into HOME an .xml file that represented every customizable aspect of the central plaza could be loaded for each user and interconnected into other program files to create this custom skin.

  I'm not going to go into the many different technical ways this can be achieved because I think the dev team can figure it out and probably has already thought of this idea.

 The point is that everyone could have a very personal version of the central plaza and PlayStation Home that they could call there own. Every user would only see their own content or the content that SONY had set to stream by default(whichever they chose). While in the Central Plaza you would still be able to walk around and meet new people, socialize etc. All of this can work and after 3 years I'm really kind of surprised it's not already in place.  All of the other spaces would have the usual marketing that's present now in HOME.

Cyd, question for you because this question will affect my choices that I want inside HOME.

What is YOUR, and Sony's definition of "virtual items?  Because while everything in HOME IS a virtual item. Each one is a different type of virtual item, so do you mean make a list of 50 virtual items that encompassess ALL virtual items, or only certain types of virtual items? 

What kind of virtual items are you asking us to suggest to you? Are you looking for Non working virtual items, like chairs, tables, picture frames, desks, bar stools, lounge chairs,  etc.   The Bubble machine is a "working" virtual item, as is the arcade games, but while the clothes are virtual items also, the rewards we got from ice Breaker, like the penguin statue,  is also a virtual item.

 Or, are we talking about suggesting the virtual items that we will finally being able to use, like our virtual TV's, so they play what we have stored on our Hard Drive?

 Or

 a virtual Home Theater system where we can finally play the music thats's on our hard drive, in our owned spaces and clubhouse?

I know it may be semantics, but it does matter and is important.

I say and ask this because we have been asking for a long, long LONG time to be able to play our music from our Hard Drive in our owned spaces, and also to be able to play the videos we have on our hard drive for our friends who come over to our place.  (Now it is not copyright infringement on playing music, or  showing a movie to our friends as it is the same exact thing as inviting a friend over for movie night, or having someone come over to listen to the new CD that came out. The radio stations, music and movie companies cannot sue you for having friends  OK, And they cannot record it either)

Those are the items that I think can make home extremely popular, I'm almost willing to guarantee that if these items were available, it might be an added incentive to get a ps3 because home woudl be so enviable. That would be a nice feather in the developemnt teams hat.

Swords ( sword fights woudl be popular)

Magic wands ( to creat havoc with. When harry potter comes out you guys will want to consider the idea.)
