If there is any thread to be read today - this should be the one.  What does owning a "shirt" do to you that you can't do otherwise???  Its not so hard to take a few minutes out of your time on Home (or in the forums) to help someone. 

As to the PS3 browser - good lord - you know how hard it is to type with that controller?  I would be banned just for spelling mistakes alone!!! 

Home is everyone's place - Enjoy it - help others to enjoy it too!!!

As long as you help the community in some way without any obligation, you ARE a volunteer

Congrats to those who did get selected though, and I hope to see none of the "Home Scandal" we have seen in EU what with MVP's being invincible to moderation for several accounts of rule breaking. Ongoing issue being covered up by their moderators and would not like to see this program hit the same road. In principle the idea is sound and I want it to work, I honestly do. I was in a virtual world volunteer program and as an outsider would like to help with any feedback to whoever runs it.

This is a great post, proph is 100% correct. HCVs have nothing that you dont have (well we do have a spffy shirt) We are simply people who want to help Home users. You can all help the community just as much as we can.
