i have no problems which is good cause this is my 3rd PS3 lol

I was going to play madden, went to sign on, said I had to update so I did

went to update, blah blah blah, I flip through channels watching other stuff here and then, because the d/l was going to take around 25-30 mins. so one time, I flipped the channel back (last time I looked at it, it was around 60 percent)  and my screen went blank. My internet was still working, my ps3 was loading (the loading light was not going off) and I wait for an additional 20 minutes...

so I go, ok, had to say something like turn off your ps3 system. but I couldn't, my controller didn't work anymore so I go to turn off the power switch in the back and restart it, everything works, it says now updating, yada yada yada, then it updated again and now, when I turn my ps3 off, I can't move to my opitions, my game won't load, my system will not shut down with the PS button when I turn it off and it seems my system is shot to hell. not very happy with this at all...updates are stupid...especially ones like this and sony better address this...

I mean, what the hell, my screen just went blank for some reason when it was downloading, then I wait 20 more minutes, nothing, then when i restart it with the power button, it updates and everything and now, nothing works at all....what the freak sony? I hope im not the only one having the problem
