Ever since LittleBigPlanet was announced, and more like ever since this generation of gaming has started, I had this little idea of games that can literally last forever with infinity possiblilities. Forever may be a strong word but last well into the end of this generation and the next. With new games coming out that have an everlasting amount of downloadable content, who can predict when a game will end. With that in mind, in this generation of gaming, a game does not end with the official release of it but more of ending with the sequel in production. At times this does not seem all that great to me but once I think about it more and more,it just proves how much more dedicated a developement team can be to a game. To me when a team is dedicated, no matter how bad the reviewers hit the game, it is still worth a play just to see those 2 - 3 years of work came out to be. (Usually when a game is worked on for years, it is good) (This is more like a comeback post since I have been gone for a while and have not posted on my ideas in the past 2 months or so. Hope you all enjoy this idea too ) First I would like to start with the game I stated before which is LittleBigPlanet. Congradulations to the people over at MediaMolecule for making such a great game and for all the fame from the gaming community that you guys are getting. Being that this is the studios first game as a team, it is surely turning into a hit. Rarely I ever see or hear this but even non gamers are talking about it and that stuff barely happens to a game that is not even out yet. You guys have really made this idea of mine and many really seem to be true. A game can be made with the intent of it being unlimited possiblility for the gamer but to think that this game actually has the potential of doing that is simply amazing. It is funny since you would think that someone would have had this idea before but just got overwhelmed with what to do with it. It is nice to know that you guys at Mm have found a way to do this. I The game puts you in a world where you, the gamer, is the player making the levels and sharing it to the world. Can you imagine the amount of ideas coming from different cultures and races across the world. The game does start you off in a story mode, that can last over 10 hours if completed, to get you use to the game and unlock more items for you to use in the create mode. From here you learn to make levels and use different iteams to make your levels as interesting as you want. From rebuilding an historic building to remaking a level in another game only LBP-ized. As you play more into the game you learn that your levels reflect who you are and the players tha you download levels from. I like to think of this as a perfect way to get to know gamers and what better way to do that but throught a game that is made to show the side of your personallity. Another great game / app is Home. Even though right now I don't think Home can last forever but if done right, I think that it can make a huge difference for Playstation. Unlike LittleBigPlanet were the game can stay the same for years and still be great, Home will have to make changes over the years to become the icon for meeting people on Playstation consoles. Still it can make the hit that LittleBigPlanet can. I I do see that home can be the place where gamers looking for other gamers, entertainment, and just to have agreat time can meet. As the beta has been out for a while, I do see a lot of people reacting to it in a way of Myspace or Facebook but just fun. Yes, I do not think Myspace and Facebook is fun but when looking at Home, it can be. Letting you have a sims like experience of your PS3 is pretty great to me since I love the Sims games. Like LittleBigPlanet, you create to show off your personallity to others. You magae your gaming in Home and gaming life. When thinking about this I thinkt hat it may get to personally but when it comes to actually wanting to sure your gaming status, Home is a great place to do that. Since info on this game is hard to find without being part of the beta, I will leave much of the details to the people that played it but as far as I can see, it will be a great game / app. Well this seems out of nowhere based on the two games I have stated above but a great example of a game lastly well into the next generation is Eye of Judgement. Some of you might not like cards games as much as someone else but you can't denine that card games have been around for a long time and don't appear to be dieing down anytime soon. Using the PSEye to transfer the card you hold in your hands (on the field) into a monster on the screen is revolutionary to me. Since Eye Of Judgement has come outand even before that, I have beenwondering what else the PSEye can do with it and have have similar games as EoJ. Still EoJ is one of those games that if liked by the player, can be played well into the next few years. I Eye of Judgement uses the PSEye to read the cards and portray the image of the screen. With this you can play a card game with realy cards. no mare having to find a group of people to play with but now you can go on the internet and look for a variety of people willing to play. There may still be cheating going on but it does not stop the fun of this card game. With games like EoJ, I think the multiplayer and introducing of new cards can keep this game going on for years to come. Thanks for reading my thread ! Questions to the reader. - What games do you think can last well into the next generation?
- Do You have a game that does seem never ending (in a good way)?
- Where do you see limit less gaming going in the next few years?

Nothing lasts forever.... obviously But I have to say I could see Warhawk lasting atleast until there is a Warhawk 2. There is NO other game that offers the same experience and I know I will never get tired of dogfighting, then landing to grab a tank, then fleeing my flaming tank while gunning down some poor troop on foot. It's the best game I've ever played and if you check the Warhawk boards you'll see I'm far from the only person who thinks so.

COD4. I know shooters have to try very hard to be anything but average, but this blows everything out of the water. I bought this on launch day thinking it'd be either a waste of $30 or barely manage to justify itself. Turned out it's the only game I've constantly played and the only one I still play frequently now. I'm still only 4th prestige (level 32), but I still get better KDR's per game than tenth-prestige level 55's. Which is sad, since you know they probably rushed through or cheated and didn't gain any actual skill.

Like someone mentioned. Warhawk. Warhawk has the ability to last a long time. It is a unique experience I have yet to find in another game. I constantly see explosions through the air and rows of tanks defending just one base. Foot soldiers in teams of 5 going everywhere. I for one am glad I bought this game the day it came out. Littlebigplanet could last forever. It might be the Youtube of gaming. Where people will be ambitious to show off their new fun levels. The game has been taken amazenly great as of now. This could be the beginning of a great new era of games. Message Edited by PS3_CRAzy on 10-05-2008 10:36 PM
But these are days we dream about, when the sunlight paints us gold! And this apartment could not be prettier as when we danced up there alone. This tv is old, the color is *bleep*ed, do you see the difference in the shades? But the green is still close to green, my love, And i believe we are the same.

Littlebigplanet is the game that never ends. It just goes on and on my friends! Some people started creating levels not knowing what it was. They will keep playing and creating forever just because. Littlebigplanet is the game that never ends. It just goes on and on my friends!

For shooters and the way they're configured, I totallt agree with my buddy 'thatonekid' regarding COD4. It simply set the bar for fps and is a blueprint for the way they'll be played. Yes, it's that sick!

LOL I love the new sig pic deliciousvinyl ^_^, While COD4 is awesome indeed how do you think Fallout 3 will stand up to the FPS action? Especially if Fallout 3 gets multiplayer later via a patch? (do not know if there is a patch or anything just an idea)
