That would depend on a case-to-case basis. What is your problem?

My wireless works!
My ISP is Qwest and I have an Actiontec Wireless Modem/Router (does both since it is wireless).

I did have a problem at first though, I had all of the easy settings on Auto, and the PS3 didn't detect the correct DNS address, it took me forever to figure out that I had to input it myself

I did. But went to wired because the router is a foot away from the ps3.

But I'm using a linksys wireless b router with a cable connection under Cox.

I did have mine wired till yesterday. I decided to try running it wireless on a whim, and its works perfectly. 90% constantly.

Works beautifully for me.  Use bellsouth, with a linksys rounter.  took me 5 min to set it up.  just go to the ps3 settings, then somewhere it has connection or internet settings, and u just have to change it from wired to wireless and it should connect.  thats all i had to and it works very well.  better and easier than the xbox. :smileytongue:

Works fine for me. LINKSYS WRT54G Version 6.0 (brand new). Downloaded the NBA demo, which is 883 megs, in 24 minutes.  Play resistance online, have never been disconnected.  I did have a weird problem pertaining to the ps3 though.  When i would download something with the ps3 and try to use my computer, which has a wired connection, at the same time, it would totally disable my wired connection and slow it to a crawl.  An upgrade to the newest firmware for my router fixed this issue, no other problems now!
Kudos!
