hey thanks... i'm still trying to get feedback on my post from last week that reads:
Guys, there are some games out there that I want people to test. The main focus should be small PSN games b/c they are most likely remote play capable without people knowing. There are a lot of games that I doubt many PS3 users own, much less PSP and PS3 owners.
Here are some I am curious about. They probably don't work, but would be nice to confirm:
Blast Factor: Advanced Research
flOw w/ expansion pack (possible they added remote play, but doubtful due to sixaxis controls)
Eye Of Judgment
Gripshift v2.0
Lemmings
LocoRoco Cocoreccho!
Nucleus
Piyotama
Tori Emaki [Japan] (PS Eye Required)
Trials of Topoq [EU] (PS Eye Required)

Thanks comorbid for the input. Also, check it out - the thread was cited once again in a new PSPFanboy article. Keep the good input coming, I think we are really helping knowledge spread about remote play (and maybe more developers will start listening to the community and add this feature)

My question is: Why doesn't Sony let us watch DVD movies that are in the PS3 remotely via the psp? I would purchase a PSP for this one feature ALONE and I don't see any DRM legal reason why they can't do it so.....come on Sony!! I want remote DVD playback!

The amount of data that would need to be streamed would be too much for your internet connection and it would be choppy at best probably. p.s. Let's try to keep this thread just about games that do or do not work with remote play please.

Downscaling the mpeg2 TS stream into an H.264 for streaming DVD video files would NOT be a problem for the PS3. BTW: i understand you wanting to keep the thread on topic but I don't think that saying this is off topic since REMOTE PLAY includes both the VIDEO and MUSIC bars of the XMB...

ok, thanks i will add this. as far as the dvd via remote play discussion, i would imagine though at surface level it doesn't seem to affect DRM, but you are talking about streaming a dvd (potentially unprotected) over a wireless network. I really don't want to get into that here, but yeah - it's an interesting concept and maybe make a thread to discuss it. no one will think to look for that info in here.
