I have tried everything on here and everything at portforward.com, now i did have nat 3 up until I read some posts, then I got a NAT 2, then like a lot, my Nat went back to 3 with 2.20...just wondering if anyone with my router, got NAT 3 to change to NAT 2 after 2.20 was downloaded.

Ps. I am tired and if I seem incoherent, I probably am!

Try restoring factory settings. Then setup your connection again. Worked for me.

I have the same router from Telus. Had Nat Type 2 before the update. I used to have DMZ set and now it doesn't work. I have also tred forwarding the ports but my knowledge is pretty weak.

Ya same situation, telus + siemens SE567. I had a nat type 2 before (after setting up static IP, open ports, DMZ) and now I get type 3 and my ps3 disconnects me from time to time... a DNS Error (80710102) No clue. I've tried everything as well. I'm not sure if this started happening after the recent update, but it was around that time.

Any ideas?

I've already tried that and whatever other combinations I found on forums. I had a type 2 before, something went wrong. All ps3 ports are open, tried DMZ and no difference, changed my dns servers to what has been recommended recently, no joy. tried a wired connection too, same problem.

portforward.com doesnt seem to work for this modem even though in theory it should...which may lead to more...."this is a sony issue" thoughts.

I have just recently "upgraded" my internet from telus and got this nice new modem/router to go with it.  I am pretty sure I've tried EVERYTHING from port forwarding to DMZ. I have only found I work around that gets me NAT 2, but when I do it I can only access the internet from my PS3 and can no longer access the internet from my computer. So if any of you are not concerned with having internet on your PS3 and your computer at the same time and don't mind swithching back and forth or maybe you don't have a computer at all I have a work around for you!
