~PSP CHRISTMAS GUIDE~

Not sure what to grab this Christmas for PSP? Here are some ideas. If this helps, you can always Kudo!

ACTION/SHOOTER

Any game above will satisfy the PSP Action gamer fan. If you're a fan of God of War,

Chains of Olympus is a pure necessity to your library. It packs the full punch of God of War

onto the handheld perfectly. If you like Action, mixed with a little RPG elements, go with

Crisis Core for sure. Great game. Ace Combat is great for anyone, easily the best flying

game on PSP. Finally, The Force Unleashed is a unique Star Wars experience, and you'll

enjoy it even if you're not a Star Wars fan. Here are my favorite in order:

1. God of War *Price: $39.99 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=64
887

2. SW: The Force Unleashed *Price: $39.99 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=68

ADVENTURE

All games above are kid friendly, but you don't have to be a little tike to enjoy them. If you

haven't already picked up Daxter, do so. It is an unrivaled PSP game that has plenty of

platforming and melee. Ratchet and Clank is similar, with more gun based weapons. Then

you have the Lego games, which are great for any new PSP owner. N+ is the most addicting

game on PSP, you'll love it. My top ones in this category:

1. N+ *Price: $19.99 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=67
297

2. Daxter *Price: $4.99 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=42

4. Lego Batman  *Price: $29.99http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=70

RPG

Alright RPG fans, here are your best choices for Christmas '09. Star Ocean or Valhalla

Knights 2 will quench your need for that long wanted RPG for PSP. Dungeon Maker 2 is

coming in early December which will pit you against a new war after years of peace, and

The War of The Lions is just classic Final Fantasy action. Here are my favorites:

1. Valhalla Knights 2 *Price: $29.99 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72
046

2. FFT: The War of The Lions *Price: $19.99http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=65

RACING

Racing is definitely not one of the PSP's big strengths, but we got some pretty good ones

this year. You're definitely going to need to keep your eyes out for L.A. Remix and Shaun

White. They are fast, big, and gorgeous. Undercover will surely settle your score with the

cops and the law, and Wipeout Pulse is the best futuristic racing game ever made, so if

you don't have it yet, grab a copy. My favorites:

1: Shaun White Snowboarding *Price: $39.99 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=71
772

2: Midnight Club L.A. *Price: $39.99 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72

3: NFS: Undercover *Price: $39.99 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=71

4: Wipeout Pulse *Price: $29.99  http://www.amazon.com/Wipeout-Pulse-Sony-PSP/dp/B00127VDWY/ref=pd

FIGHTING

For you avid Fighting fans, I've made a fighting section. Tekken is classic, if you haven't gotten

it, you'll find a lot to rave about. Street Fighter Alpha Max 3 is also a very well crafted game,

along with Guilty Gear Judgement (a steal on PSN for under $10). WWE is the most hardcore

wrestler you'll find on the system, and it's worth having a go at if you like the show. My favs:

1. Guilty Gear Judgement *Price: $12.99 ($6.99 off PSN) http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=40
031

2. WWE Smackdown vs. Raw *Price: $39.99  http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=70
972

3. Street Fighter Alpha Max 3 *Price: $19.99  http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=42
218

4. Tekken Dark Resurrection  *Price: $19.99http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=43

SPORTS

The sports genre is a hefty one for PSP. You'll simply love Madden 09's gameplay and

graphics, football fan or not. Fifa 09 is the best soccer series made (in my opinion) and this

year is way better thanks to Be A Pro mode. Tiger Woods is as realistic golfer you'll get on PSP.

NBA The Inside is also the best basketball game. My favs:

1. Fifa 09 *Price: $39.99 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=71
395

2. Madden 09 *Price: $39.99  http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=68

3. NBA 09 The Inside *Price: $29.99 http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72

ACCESSORIES

 Starter Kit PSP

If you already are content with your PSP library (I'm sure you're not, you can check out some of the year's top accessories. If you're new to

PSP, you're definitely going to want to get an accessory pack, enter the " PSP Power Pack." This product comes with a cleaning cloth, screen

protector, 4 UMD cases, car adapter, headphones, USB cable, wrist strap, aluminum case, and analog nub, as well as the Player Pak, the other starter kit.

That's a great deal. There is also more memory stick variety than ever before (See Memory Stick section.)There is also Playgear Pocket, the best case for

PSP, and the connection video cables to hook your PSP up to your T.V. and play games on them. Top ones:

MEMORY STICKS

Memory Cards store everything on your PSP, and depending on how much you have and how much you use the multimedia

resources on your system, you should have a memory stick accordingly. If you just want game saves, go with 512MB (1/2 GB),

if you want a few videos and some music, go with a 1 or 2GB. But if you want lots of stuff on your PSP, go with a 4GB, and if

completely necessary (for all your true fanboys) go with an 8GB.

1. 8GB Sandisk  http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=72

2. 4GB Sandiskhttp://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=60

3. 2GB Sandisk  http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=39

4. 512GB Sandisk http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=43

Also, asking for kudos is a no-no. When people feel something helped or was informative, they will kudo you.

Thanks for the info!

No Love for Street Fighter Alpha Max 3 :smileytongue:?  It's only 14.99, and you can add a fighting genre to your list with Tekken Ressurection!

Street Fight Alpha Max 3 wouldn't really fit into any of these categories, maybe action, but that's part of your list. These are the most popular.

Also, I know a ton of people that write: "Kudos welcome!" After they make a post, so don't go babbling on about that.

As for you, Madden Glitch, yes, probably one Christmas Guide is better, but I was bored at midnight, and this is my own that I felt like making.

P.S. Your guide still pwns mine any day. :smileyvery-happy:

Yeah I was saying, I think getting contradicting opinions during the Holiday's makes life harder. lol. Its fine, I just htought it would be best.

Maybe you should say "The Kudos system is implemented to give credit to those with threads that offer help to you. If you feel this thread has helped you, you have the right to Kudos." LOL :smileyvery-happy:
