Well, it seems I may be on to something. I was thinking, that since a minor may not enter into a contract, which is what an update is, sony would have to resore it to its original condition if a minor updated it. Now the problem is, how do you prove that a minor updated it?  It sux, because I would definately pull this on them if I could prove I updated. Any thoughts, I mean someone should video tape themself with their Photo ID in the pic, and update, thenget sony in court and see if they would comply. They would have to...... Its The Law!!!

LOL, but its true. Read the and know the law. You will be supprised with what you can do if you prepare for it and make sure it will stand up in court.  Minors can do ALOT that has to be reversed if its requested.....

Umm... that works, but you don't need it. Homebrew is already completely legal under the Fair Use act. Sony cannot legally bind ANYONE to an illegal contract, which is what they're trying to do when they make you update.

he is saying since a minor cant enter into a contract, which is what a user agreement is, that sony would be forced to undo what the minor did... because by clicking i agree you are entereing into a contract, but most of us would have no proof, so if you made a video with a photo id you could prove it and foce sony to downgrade....
