Money talks and obviously Square Enix is letting themselves be bought out by the great evil that is MS.  If you want to show Square Enix how you feel about this the only thing they will pay attention to is the dollar bill.  If Square Enix feels that they can survive on revenue from MS sales alone then so be it.

 what bothers me is when multiplat titles are released FIRST on the otherbox, or announced on the otherbox with "no current plans for a PS3 version". that's what is really bothing most people here, that's what makes people feel betrayed/abandoned.

I can't do it. SE makes too many of the RPGs that I enjoy playing. What I will do is follow where the games go... even if that means getting other systems.

If you're looking to place blame on any of this look no further than Sony who seemingly isn't doing a thing to get us the RPGs we want. MS is buying up exclusivity and timed exclusives everywhere and in every genre. What they're doing makes buisness sense - they want to expand the software selection and appeal to more gamers. Sony has taken the "if you build it they will come" attitude on a platform that is notoriously difficult to program for and has the smallest installed base. In their arrogance Sony has let almost all their major 3rd party support slip to the competition. You know it's bad when JRPG dev's like SE are switching over to MS.

What SE is doing also makes buisness sense. How much resources are they devoting to FFXIII on the PS3? Has anyone heard a release date? Anyone hear about SE lossing money? Enter on Microsoft with wads of cash looking for hot property and SE strapped for cash developing FFXIII. So MS gobbles up another title. We get FFXIII... eventually. How many more games will Sony lose before the release of FFXIII?

Sorry to be so negative. But SO4 was one title I was really looking forward too. That along with all the other news on cancellations and more delays has really bummed me out on my PS3.

On the positive side I still have my PS2 and tons of great RPGs for it.

Right now at this moment I plan on buying ff13 etc hopefully se will see the light and make a whole bunch of jrpgs for ps3....I still hold out silght hope for so4 even after the other system's tag at the end of the last video.

I think number on the ps3 are going to start making an even larger dent in that other systems lead with the great games coming out this year, bigger install base will convince more companies to make more games including squire -enix. But yeah if we lost ff13 or any of those at this point I would boycott protest and send anger hate mail to SE.
