I didn't see it posted anywhere else, so complain away... Aerosmith - "Dude (Looks Like A Lady)" The Offspring - "Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)" Bad English - "When I See You Smile" Panic! At The Disco - "Nine In The Afternoon" Bobby Brown - "My Prerogative" Paramore - "CrushCrushCrush" Boys Like Girls - "Hero/Heroine" Phantom Planet - "California" The Bravery - "Believe" P!nk - "Just Like A Pill" The Cure - "Pictures of You" The Police - "Don't Stand So Close To Me" Elton John & Kiki Dee - "Don't Go breaking My Heart" The Proclaimers - "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" Eminem - "Without Me" Radiohead - "Street Spirit" Gavin DeGraw - "In Love With A Girl" Rise Against - "Prayer Of The Refugee" Gnarls Barkley - "Run (I'm A Natural Disaster)" Sara Bareilles - "Love Song" Gold Frapp - "Happiness" The Shins - "New Slang" The Killers - "When You Were Young" Tone Loc - "Funky Cold Medina" Lit - "Miserable" Weezer - "Beverly Hills" The Mamas & The Papas - "California Dreamin'" Yael Naim - "New Soul" Natasha Bedingfield - "Unwritten" Young M.C. - "Bust A Move" Seriously? Still only 30 songs? Rockband and GH4 both have 80+. It's not like they ran out of room on the bluray disc... Also, some of this is just DLC from the UK singstore. Why they couldn't have made it DLC for us, I don't know.

It's actually not that bad but I still think they can do a whole lot better. Bad English sucks, that particular Panic song was never really popular from what I remember, not huge fans of Paramore or Boys Like Girls, that's the best Radiohead song they can get? why not a new one from In Rainbows at the very least?, I don't believe most people know Goldfrapp save for a few songs and this is not one of those. Then there are a bunch of mediocre but I got to commend them on at least some good pics with Aerosmith, Bravery, Elton John, Eminem, Sarah Bareilles, Killers, Tone Loc, Natasha Beddingfield, Weezer, Lit, and Young MC.

It would have been better if they used "My Own Worst Enemy". That's a better karaoke song. It's cool to see any Lit song on there period. I'm glad to see the songs by these guys The Offspring, Gnarls Barkley, Eminem, The Proclaimers, Weezer, Sarah Bareilles, and Yael Naim..probably more, but I have to listen to the music first. I don't remember a lot of these songs/bands, but there's a lot of one hit wonders or songs that I miss (I don't listen to the radio as much as I used to.) One thing I don't like about music games is that sometimes they pick famous bands, but they only get their unpopular songs. Sometimes that song is good, but most of the time there's a reason it was not a hit song.

Agreed. A game like Singstar is about getting the songs from bands that were or are hits. Sure the song can be good but a karaoke game is meant to be sung too. That means its important to have songs you know! Message Edited by spaceghost84 on 08-21-2008 10:04 PM

man, screw you guys. I am happy about the Bad English song. A well known song for any of us on the board over 24. edit - and the 30 limit was originally in place because of the DVD size. Going to blu-ray they can obviously fit a ton more than 30 on the disc, but at this point they already have a licensing model in place. going above 30 I am guessing would need either a major reworking of the licensing model or a higher cost per game. just a guess though.
