Is sitting in scope for a long time something that is a problem?  I would think staying in scope for too long actually makes you more vulnerable to... well, me looking for you and finding you.

socom has the best gunbattle system. it minimizes lag. the hardcore mode in call of duty lets players 1 shot kill almost anything or i mean it just seems that way when you get shot. adjusting the bullet damage is a cheap way for people to play. a certain amount of bullet damage for limbshots, headshots, and torso shots is what sets socom apart still to this day aside from the cheaters. other than that you have a bunch of great ideas.

zipper really perfected the online gunbattle system. i dont have many wishes for changes except one. i wish that they never put greendots over friendlys heads again. it distracts from planned out strategies. everybody stops to look around to see where their teammates died. it makes people stop runNgunning and it makes them "camp" more than ever before. i have gotten over 30 kills since they put in that stupid crap.

heres an idea for the present upcoming patch for the current socom. when you snipe someone in the head on the socom 3 disk with a sniper rifle, how about it counting all my headshots. i still be number 1 on headshots if they did this a long time ago

Spec voting should be allowed, voting of the other team should be allowed also with a safeguard (requires votes from both sides to eliminate someone like Sgt.Rock & 4 of his clanmates from keeping a cheater / teamkiller / etc on his side from being voted)

Logic should be improved when joining games currently in progress...when you join a game from your friendslist/clanlist why does it put you on the other team 90% of the time, even if teams are even?  That really sucks when you get a mass boot/lagout in a clan match & have to rejoin...

Changing teams during gameplay should be allowed...invoke the vote option if someone tries something sneaky during a clan match or whatever....

 

I have an idea that would be a huge success, and remedy a ton of problems.

Invoke a system for electing a "captain" during gameplay.   Improve the voting system for "Captain" as well as standard "kicking" to EXCLUDE non-voters.  (How often do you try to get rid of a teamkiller and there's a half dozen newbies that are too stupid to vote so you can't get rid of the teamkiller) Require a 75% (active votes) to pass the vote (true majority rules if you don't care enough to vote, don't whine about the results).  When a vote is invoked, it should announce on the hud to the team with a timer...60 seconds should be fine.  If a vote fails 3 times, it can't be called by the same person anymore that game. 

 

Elected "Captains" will be able to remove players without voting being necessary, mute aggravating mic hogs, etc.  That way when  teamkiller or any other undesirable joins a game in progress, mics don't work, whatever the case is, he can be dealt with without having to wait to get the message to people to get them out, or whatever.


 

Convoy is an art...you have to be an artist to play...and being a Seal requires no skill so dont call yourself a convoy clan unless you can play from the RIGHT side...

Add Helicopters!!!  One Pilot one co-pilot (for shooting forward missiles) and two side gunners...
