Bly, have you tried blowing up a mine with a nade yet?  I know for a fact that M2 mines do not explode from nades or any other explosive.  You have to shoot them point blank.

i dont know if this is listed because i didnt go through all 9 pages. but I got shot out of a tank with a 25mm round by another tank. the tank was still driveable. also got blown up by m2 mines and i died and the aslv or what every vehicle i was in never blew up. Also i tryed to jump over the edge of a vehicle got stuck and lost most of my life.

I haven't played online yet, but this does happen to me in single player, but only when you have it in a fire mode other than single shot.  I've played single player and shot once but it still took me out of scope, in any stance.  Not sure if it only happens to me in single player, but it's happened in any stance with any gun and scope.  I know I have only shot once, too, because i only lose 1 bullet.  Not sure if it happens to a lot of people, and it doesn't happen too often for me, but it does happen at least once every mission, not everytime I shoot in scope, so I don't think it's that big.  I'll see if it happens online when I play Friday night.

It is disheartening... I'm a bit tired of the whole thing...  I just wanted to get this list posted quickly... make it detailed, and even show video examples... in just the short time of 7 days.. to show how easy it is for people who know the game to identify problems quickly.


The socom 3 beta was awesome miss that type of game play.. night vision in the truck at night not in ca they didn't listen ...thermal awesome in beta didn't listen.. 3 in one scope awesome didn't listen  gun range in beta awesome the didn't listen...

One problem is that the tanks main gun turret shoots rounds.  They are supposed to be very large bulelt rounds, am I correct?  In CA, they do damage like bullets but give the visual animation of a rpg exploding.  So it looks like it's shooting automatic rpg's, except without the huge vapor trail... And yet it only does damage as if it was a bullet.  Meaning, you can be in the blast zone & it wont kill you.  Bly already has it down.    If they fix it, the bradleys should shoot exactly like they did in Socom 3.

Is it really "IMPOSSIBLE"?  What if after completing a redeploy mission (or a bunch of them), you complete a quick and easy instant action mission where it will ask you to save?  What about going to your options and saving?  I haven't tried any of these but I'm sure there is a lot of work-arounds for this bug until they patch it up......




Yes, it is "IMPOSSIBLE."  Once you complete the mission, you have to leave the mission screen, there are no other options.  Just X to continue.  Once you do that, you are back at the main screen and your stats are gone.  If you immediately go to badges you see that you didn't earn the badge.  Or go to your stats and your stats didn't change.  You can't go to your options and save because there is nothing to save.

Just like in Instant Action, if you complete an Instant Action mission, it saves as you are exiting the final score screen.  Once you go past that screen, if you didn't save, it's all gone.  There is no going to your "options" and saving at that point.

Unfortunately there is no workaround.  I'm really shocked that more people don't think this is a big deal.  So if you miss 1 FREAKIN' SAUGAGE in your campaign, you have to play the whole campaign over again (at least up until that point) to get it.

I'm glad that you're "sure" there are workarounds, but there are none.

Room Details do not show "Friendly Fire".  I've made countless rooms with NO Ranged Explosives and Friendly Fire ON, yet it never shows the friendly fire when looking at the room from the server screen.  Once I join the room, all the details are shown, including "Friendly Fire".  It's been that way for all rooms I join since CA has been released.

Also, Echelon has no bullet sounds at all.  Go ahead and shoot your silenced weapon into the nearest wall.  You will not hear a thing, no sound of bullets hitting the ground, nothing.  I know this is already on the list but Echelon specificly is COMPLETELY silent when it comes to bullets hitting anything.  When someone is shooting at you, you cann't hear the bullets hitting around you.  You have to rely on seeing the bullets hit the ground around you.  It changes the way silent gun fights take place.


MINES update

I tried blowing up mines with HE nades on Siphon and they would not blow up.  Tried it again on Fault demo, and HE nades would not blow up mines.  M2 mines are the same.  I just wanted to confirm that both mines fail to detonate with nades on multiple maps.  I shot the mines and got detonation easily.  Also when the bomb is planted and the boxes explode, the mines close by are detonated. (Example, Anchorage Sm Demo, I placed mines on Seal base doors after planting, and both blew once the bomb satchel went boom.)  Other players witnessed it as well, because they we're trying to blow up mines I had placed in entrances to bomb plant sites.  After our game, many players were talking about what was up with the mines.  So I know it wasn't just me seeing it.


UPDATE PART 2:  I just watched the video of the claymore and mine bug where you cann't plant your 4th mine or claymore.  That video also shows how claymores will not detonate m2mines.
