Yet another I hate Ninja gaiden thread.... and what a surprise, yet again, the OP does not hate the game at all. In fact he fully admits that it has great graphics, amazingly replayable gameplay, great controls, and nearly everything that could possibly make a game great. Yet, boo-hoo, it is too difficult. News flash: this is what a video game is. A challenge. The rest of this nonsense released in the past decade with unlimited continues and nearly no way to fail completing the game on your first attempt is miserable garbage. Garbage created for the mainstream to increase profits because any sissy with no skill can feel like Kratos god of all that is, even though they suck worse than noobs after years of practice. In my honest opinion, throw trophies on Ninja Gaiden Sigma and lets set a benchmark peple can actually measure themselves against, and the rest of you can go play LocoRoco or something that soothes your hurt pride after realizing you have no skill. In the meantime, quit making threads about how much you "HATE" a videogame, when the real thread title should obviously be "I love this game, it is one of the best PS3 games available, but I suck at it. Real bad." Still waiting to hear an honest reason why this game 'sucks' beyond "its too hard, boo-hoo, waaa!" P.S. you may not be familiar with what a "sense of accomplishment" is or does exactly, but just maybe if you do one day beat this game (even if it is on 'Ninja Dog' because that is the extent of your skills) you will still gain this "sense of accomplishment" and then just maybe it might mean something to you.

I like NGS and enjoyed playing it, but I felt it was a little overrated. Still, I look forward to NGS2 later this year and hope they improve on the annoying targetting system.

NemesisHD wrote: I believe the game is hard because your constantly fighting the camera. i just got this game and i love it, but its the most frustrating game i have ever played and i blame it all on the camera, i find myself constanly moving the camera because something gets in the way and blocks my view, its more of a fight against the camera than it is against enemies. But i still can't deny that its a pretty good game, I just really hope they fix the camera for Sigma 2 because i'm looking forward to playing co-op with my friend.Message Edited by NemesisHD on 04-06-2009 07:37 PM
I agree the camera could've been better but I don't believe it's the reason it hard. Just spam the center camera button when fighting...pretty simple imo.

I bought and played Ninja Gaiden Sigma when it first came out. I read several reviews for it so I thought it would be a pretty good game. But I was sorely mistaken. It was not that the game was bad, the graphics were amazing, but it was just too freakin hard. If I remember right, I completed the first few missions before I had to switch to the Ninja Dog difficulty level. After I did this I figured my frustration would subside. Well, it did a little bit. Even on Ninja Dog (Easy) mode, the game still seemed impossible to play or even beat. However, I stuck with it and controlled my anger to finally beat the game. After beating the game I tried some of the extra missions, and I may have beat 3 or 4 of them. Even most of those missions were too difficult and they seemed impossilbe. So now that you have heard my opinion about the game, tell me your opinion. Whether you liked the game or you hated it like I did. Explain your opinion.
ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?! This game was not that friggin' hard? This was easily one of the BEST games....easily.... Once I got the moves down, it got much easier to play, not to beat...however, I did beat it on all difficulties on the old first gen ecksbawks, and went on to buy sigma when it came out for PS3, and then I beat it again on all difficulties. Remember, I did this all for fun...this was a pre-trophy installment, btw............... How easy would you like a game to be??? I didn't FLY through the game by any means (at first, but after you beat it ten or fifteen times it tends to get quite easy)....It was a perfect mix of challenge and fun, IMO...
